Are premade foods a scam?

Summary

I feel like whenever you watch any influencer or creator on YouTube, more often than not they are always sponsored by some premade food subscription. They often advertise these meals as healthier, easier, and even better than cooking at home, which can make it seem like homemade food isn’t good enough anymore. It can feel almost like a “convenience scam,” where companies profit by convincing people that something they can already do themselves is inferior or too time-consuming.

Question: How do food subscription companies use ideas about convenience, health, and productivity to reshape how we value home cooking in modern society?
